His followers had little choice but to operate outside that system with a system of their own.

I feel that way about the church, sometimes. We've been inside and have challenged and questioned and sought to promote good sense and biblical priorities, but were patted on the head and ignored (or worse). I'm working for a solution that satisfies the requirement for fellowship, but without the baggage that the church straps to your back.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11715705463586044682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19670264.post-1151187387946245752006-06-24T16:16:00.000-06:002006-06-24T16:16:00.000-06:00THanks for your kindness. I actually enjoy hearing and learning from other's opinions, helps me to redefine my perceptions and allows for the flow of conscience thought...If you think you are doing me a dis-favour you'd be sadly mistaken. I enjoy hearing every point of view I can, I am but an island.SocietyVshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10892870801259282254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19670264.post-1151114524053671952006-06-23T20:02:00.000-06:002006-06-23T20:02:00.000-06:00I'm sorry I upset you so much. But, I certainly respect your perception of God. I just don't care to adopt it for myself. Please don't let that ruin our friendship. I promise to not confront you with the "good news" as I understand it. It doesn't bother me that we don't see eye to eye. I'm sure we have more in common than we differ on... being Christ.

Peace!brucedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06839887792626090688noreply@blogger.com
